Is this bird a song sparrow?

I think the beak is to long, thin and pointed, but what else can it be? (Photo taken by Bob Burgess of British Columbia, shared with his permission). Photo was taken on Vancouver Island recently.

I downloaded the picture and lightened it. The bill looks a lot thicker without the dark shadows at the top and bottom.
