I moved to the area recently for work and am shocked at the lack of land conservancy in the Okanagan. I googled to find conservation groups to volunteer with and only found one, that never replied...I feel abit like there is no one who cares about the environment around me...Where are wildlife rescues, and conservation groups in Kelowna and Vernon? I see Business es fought to stop a national park in the south, and there is massive development occuring everywhere. What organizations are fighting to save natural areas?
