Hello,

I had a flycatcher sized bird fly past me a few times emitting a decently loud sort of Pew-Pew call, not a robin. They was one Western Tanager though[ a very early arrival ] and I am not sure if its maybe the same bird?

Sounds like a flicker if it was doing a Pew-Pew call however if it was really the size of a flycatcher maybe you heard a Hammond's .

Other sources are telling me its probably a starling . I do hope that it was a Hammond's!
