April 4th, 2021 - Kin Beach, Comox Valley, Vancouver Island

Came across the big boy/girl sitting in a tree and not sure if it's a golden eagle or immature bald eagle... For size comparison, there were a couple of mature bald eagles nearby and this one was much bigger. Thanks!

This is an immature Bald eagle. For future reference, size is not a distinguishable feature. The two species are similar in size.
