This is a Whimbrel.
Consider downloading the Merlin bird ID app from Cornell labs. It’s free on the App Store (not sure if there is an Android version) and it’s pretty good at id’ing birds from pictures. I ran your pictures and it got both of them right.
Of course, I’m not suggesting that you stop posting here; it’s just a handy little tool to have. Cheers!
