Hi there!

I was lucky enough to go to Reifel on a rather nice day last Tuesday and got a chance to take a picture of a Ruddy Duck. Pictures of this cute little duck are not frequent on the forum and I thought I would share this shot with you.

She was still there on Saturday. I think she looks a bit lonely. :(

I got one at Reifel last year (and also the year before) but they are not all that common that's for sure.
Nice shot, great detail for a distance shot and you've captured it's classic pose well :)

Thank you very much for your positive comments! I am glad I managed to capture its classic pose... It was in the middle of all the mallards and I just had the time to take a few shots before it got out of range.
Hopefully it's going to find some friends over winter!
