Here are a few raptors I've photographed lately. I'm working on my BIF technique with varied success.

Another RTH - Taken on Halloween. I call him Caesar's Ghost.

Thanks for the comments.

I'm using a 300mm f/4 AFS lens with a TCE-14EII TC on it. I'm thinking about taking the TC off for better focusing, but the reach is hard to give up. Always a compromise.

Every shot is stunning, but I, too, love that pellet shot. What a catch!

Great capture Wes! Catching a coughed up pellet is certainly being in the right place at the right time.

Great shots, like them all. The pellet shot is something I've never seen before. Caeser's Ghost looks great!

Wow, thanks for all the comments. Here are a couple more from yesterday's drive. Please forgive the high noise. I had to push the ISO to 3200 to get the shot. Will this weather ever turn?

Amazing series. I love the first shot. That is amazing timing! Hope the weather gets better soon, it's been pretty wet around in Victoria. I was hoping to check out Goldstream to see if there are any Baldies around this weekend.
