I freeze a few bags of berries in the fall for the birds. When its cold and bare of berries, I put some outside for the robins and any others that come along.

I'm not sure why this negative thought had to pop into my head, but are there any berries to avoid? Any that might be poisonous to birds?

I only use mountain ash berries. When you see the birds eating some berries, take a few to freeze. I have a holly tree and they don't eat them. You can use them though for pictures, for Christmas cards etc.


Fasten a branch up and hide peanut butter on a leaf, you can see it on the right.
