That's awesome Liron thank you so much for sharing.

Raymond Ng got some beautiful shots of the Chipping Sparrow and of a Black-throated gray warbler today! I am blown away by them! :P

Savannah Sparrow singing from the weedy lot at Ontario and 37th this morning, across from QE. I don't associate this sound with my neighbourhood! I hope development is delayed and delayed . . .

I saw some Savannah sparrows at Quilchena park this morning, in trees and grass. And quite some warblers(dozens could hide in just one tree), Yellow-rumped, Orange-crowned, Wilson’s, and Warbling vireo, 2 handsome Chipping sparrows. And yesterday afternoon, also Black-throated gray.
But later they came mow the lawn.

Many species migrate at night, and they need to find suitable habitat to spend the day in, not necessarily the ideal habitat.

When you mentioned Quilchena Park, is that in Quilchena near Merritt, or in Vancouver?

I went to the park this afternoon and found a (the?) MacGillivray's Warbler by the lawn bowling club. Lots of Wilson's Warblers were around, with a concentration of about 35 around the seasons restaurant. Also a few Warbling Vireos and Orange-crowned Warblers with them. I also saw a few Pacific-slope Flycatchers around the park.

Thank you. I see the bill is a bit crossed. I gues[…]
