Alan Burger had the Lesser Goldfinch today was at the same location 1721 Hill Street, Merritt. The owners of the property are aware that this is a rare bird and are OK with people coming by, but there is no need to go into their property - the feeder and the birch tree in which the bird likes to sit are just metres from the road and clearly visible without entering the property. Please be respectful of this.

Murphy Shewchuk's home is not open to the public but the bird seems to be visiting feeders on the south side of Merrritt and Colletville so residents and birders should keep their eyes open.
