Thanks Mel! It was not a lifer, as I have seen one in Ucluelet, but it was only the second time I've ever seen one! Yes that patch of bushes is good for birds! The only uncommon bird I've seen there other than the mockingbird was two White-throated Sparrows two months ago but WTSPs aren't very rare around here. :)
