Help IDing -- maybe a Connecticut Warbler?

I had a small tragedy a few days ago. I found a small bird dead on my porch, and it was one I hadn't seen before. Searching on the net I found myself returning again and again to photos of Connecticut Warblers, but I haven't found anything to suggest I should be seeing one in Sooke on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, just west of Victoria.

I took a photo and I'm wondering if you can help me identify this little guy.

With thanks,

It was likely a MacGillivray's warbler, but without a pic, hard to tell - there are instructions somewhere on here on how to post a pic....

I tried to follow the instructions for posting a picture with a link to Flickr, but something went wrong. If you right click on the link in my original post, you can open the image--at least it works for me.

Here's attempt #2.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the suggestion of MacGillivray's warbler; that looks like the right bird.
