A Redwing was found today in Victoria by Nathan Hentze. Multiple observers on the CBC got to see it.

I will be going over tomorrow for this on the first ferry! Must be the same bird from two years ago!

All info is here and will be updated: ... n.html?m=1

Thanks a lot Cole for the luck but sadly I did not see it.

The Redwing showed up at 350 pm but we missed it. The bird perched briefly on the same holly tree in the vacant lot behind the rock pile before disappearing for the day. Daniel Donnecke is the guy who relocated it at 3:50pm and he got a gorgeous photo which I will post here once he emails it to me.

Hopefully it's seen tomorrow! Then I'll try again on Wed. Good luck to all who go!
